Exit Denied - Second Project

Hello guys, I'm Zachariah69 and I'm pleased to announce my new game - Exit Denied.
So, what is Exit Denied?
It's basically a continuation of the story of my previous project, HE SEES YOU. After initially escaping the cursed village, he wakes up in an unknown labyrinth where he must navigate through dark, winding corridors to find the exit. With limited visibility and eerie ambient sound, each turn brings tension and mystery. Avoid dead ends, find the hidden path before it’s too late...
Let's talk about game design
From my previous project I learned that more assets are never better (especially 8k ones compressed to 1k XD), specifically for performance. As a result, I went with fewer assets but added different elements to make up for it.
AI: Having an enemy AI comes with its own set of problems such as proper navigation with nav mesh, so he explores the map properly and does not get stuck. 3D sound to make sure the player knows the enemy's close. Making sure the AI is not too fast nor too slow. Updating player's location when enemy sees the player so that even if the player's vanishes from his view, he at least goes to the last known location of the player and search for the player.
Resolved some issues from previous project: With my last project there were some issues with my interactive flashlight system like how it disoriented players and that it was difficult for the players to find the exit. Hence, I made a simpler flashlight system and made multiple exits. (However, they are randomized and there's a special surprise for u at the end.)
But, as with any game development, I ended up in a dilemma. Performance wise, my game was running decently since there's fewer assets to load but my map felt a bit empty. So, I had two choices, either add assets to flesh out the map and in turn affect performance or keep it the way it is. Finally, I got an idea inspired from Silent Hill or The Evil Within (I forgot which game had the scene) and implemented it in my game to make the map feel less empty.
For my next project I'm thinking of making an over-the-top camera horror game (since I've already done first and third person) while trying my best to implement what I've learned from my previous projects.
I hope u guys follow me and my journey to better myself.
